For the greater good

Even beginning to understand and know God’s love for me is incomprehensible. I once heard that if it was just us, you and I on earth, God would have still sent His Son Jesus to save the world! This is true, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) These are a few verses which speak of God’s greatness and sovereignty which when reflected on brings profound peace and satisfaction deep within.

God knows my every day before I even live it. In fact, He has a plan and a purpose, planned down to the finest detail as we read in Matthew 8:29-30, Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

As I read scripture today I’ve been convicted of the fact there are things that I do not even understand about my life. Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis is one of them! But, I accept it, and I’m thankful that in spite of all that has happened, God has me in the palm of His hands and has healed me in Jesus name.

“I will not forget you. I have written your name on the palms of my hands. ” ~ Isaiah 49:15-16.

Rescued from the power of Sin

Christ Jesus has rescued me form the power of sin. As His word proclaims, those that have faith as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20) will be impossible. Healing from God is not impossible, Jesus healed all throughout scripture and his discipled continued to do so even after the ascension of Christ. (Acts 4)

I believe that God has meet every on of my needs and I thank God for being with me and providing my strength and energy.

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,” ~ Colossians 1:13

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” ~ Isaiah 53:4-5
